HOUSTON (October, 2005) - In Allure Magazine’s
October 2005 issue, Zeno won the “Best of Beauty Breakthrough
Award.” Zeno is a handheld, rechargeable acne treatment
device manufactured by Tyrell, Inc. To use Zeno, you simply hold
the tip of the cell phone-looking device to the inflamed acne
area for two minutes. A small microprocessor releases measured
doses of 118.5°F heat, causing p. acnes bacteria, which causes
zits, to self-destruct and halt inflammation that creates the
visible blemish. Zeno has been proven to work fast, as most pimples
fade or disappear within 24 hours. Zeno is an over-the-counter
acne-clearing product.
Being the first FDA-approved medical device designed for over-the-counter
use on inflammatory acne,
Wally Kemp, president and CEO of Tyrell, Inc. had this to say: “Zeno
represents a major advancement in the new category of home-based
medical devices. People are absolutely amazed when they first
use Zeno. For the first time, they can take control of their
skin and treat pimples the same day they appear, without the
risk of drug-related side effects.”
Zeno is available without a prescription, and can be used alongside
other acne treatments and
acne prevention medicines. Using proprietary ClearPoint™ technology,
the heat produced by Zeno is well below the level that would
harm human tissue.
Zeno’s suggested retail price is $225 and is may be purchased
from authorized physicians
and skin care specialists or online at www.MyZeno.com.
